The small version of the CORDURA SPEEDLOCK.
Cordura, made from cut polyamide fibers, is more tear-resistant than nylon. Vertical or horizontal, the Velcro fastener keeps the contents in position. This was an invention that came about by chance. De Mestrall, a Swiss man, was walking through woods and meadows with his dog. However, they always returned with a multitude of burrs in the dog's fur and on the owner's trouser legs. On closer inspection, the Welschlander recognized a very useful principle. A barb no longer releases fabric that is in contact with it. He introduced this to the world as Velcro, which recognized it as one of the fifty most important inventions of the 20th century.
